Regional Express (also known as Rex) is an Australian airline based in Mascot, New South Wales.It operates scheduled regional services.It is Australia’s largest regional airline outside the Qantas group of companies and serves New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria, North Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia.
The one flight I took with REX was very dissapointing. The moment myself and my family boarded the plane, my disabled mother was asked to sit by the emergency exit and told that she would have to operate it if there was an emergency.
After explaining that my mother was disabled and was not capable of doing that, the flight attendant begun raising her voice and getting very bossy. I asked if I could sit by the emergency exit instead, she said “NO” and continued ranting loudly. Quite simply shocked at this behaviour, I can’t see me flying with them again.
